The R&D department

Alongside the important part of production, research and development plays a fundamental role in our company. They allow us to study solutions that always comply with the new standards of the circular economy and allow also us to offer the market our innovative and patented proposals, to achieve the highest levels of sustainability, performance and economic convenience.

The certifications

Our R&D procedures and the tests we carry out on the results are guaranteed by precise rules that certify our high standards.
The new DECOFILM packaging technologies are dedicated to the pursuit of sustainability and performance according to external criteria as well. Some examples?
UNI EN ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 9001:2015
The certifications concern the development and production phase of shrink films and barrier films for packaging and guarantee compliance and safety.
BRC STANDARDS
This certification relates to the production of packing and packaging materials
I'M GREEN
It is the sustainability certification that concerns the production of 50% bio-based Green PE, verified by ASTM 6866. The "circularity" of a product must not only be declared, but certified according to the rules that analyze and approve it.
INTERSEROH
Certifies the recyclability of our lines and products. Being "Made for recycling" is an advantage and a value that not everyone can guarantee, and Decoline can.

Our laboratory tests

The new packaging solutions that are tested in our laboratories must pass stringent checks. Our production sites host the best test and production technologies: very high precision machinery that allows us to verify the actual performance of each product.
