DECOFILM: production is renewed

Million euros. This is the economic value of the investments for the renovation of DECOFILM’s production dept. that is almost completed.

The investment, which is also important considering the historical moment, will bring to DECOFILM a new production line for High Barrier Recyclable films (DCMH Lid stretch and shrink film).

The new machine is the result of the most modern extrusion technologies available on the market. An ultra-technological line capable of working in multi-nano layers.

The new production line will be fully automatic, according to the dictates of industry 4.0.

Automation reduces human error and optimizes results, increasing the economic advantage fot the end-user.

The new production line will be able to process recycled and recyclable polymers, thus entering the virtuous circular economy.

Packaging film for the food industry
The new line responds to the demands of the food market, to which it supplies a product characterized by a very high level of quality and reliability, also optimized in terms of film converting (cutting, high-speed single-fold, handling and logistics).

Appointment in September
Testing of the new line is scheduled for September 2021.
